Environmental Impressionist
Mixed-media Artist

Creativity and Art have always been my love and passion! Even as a kid growing up in the suburbs of Chicago, I adored exploring back alleys for lost treasures to make into "unique" works of art. Throughout the years, I have continued to transform found "treasures" from historic building demolition sites and scrap metal recyclers into eco-friendly wall sculptures, paintings and jewelry - even before the term eco-friendly was popular!

As a mixed-media artist, I love the freedom to experiment with a wide variety of materials. Through my environmental impressionist paintings,
I hope to "bring color & nature into your heart and home" with illusion, pieces from nature, or lines and shapes representing elements from our natural environment. A walk in the woods always offers gifts for both my art and my soul!

My first jewelry piece was created totally by accident. In 1986, while constructing a wall sculpture from pieces of weathered metals, I casually placed two small pieces together and... aha! With a few more additions and an aging gold finish,
it became one of my favorite personal pieces of jewelry!

Many evolutions later, my eco jewelry collection today combines sophistication and playfulness with the spirit of environmental responsibility. Finding new ways to re-use and re-imagine our earth's precious resources is always a creative and productive adventure. Because together, every small act of stewardship can make a difference!

My art studio, overlooking Cranberry Lake, is located 35 miles north of Minneapolis, MN and serves as a constant inspiration for me and my artwork. I live there with my husband, Jon and our beloved poodle art assistant, Pancha.
