As an environmental artist I rescue
typically "throw-away resources" and transform them into stunning - often surprising, works of art.

My hope is that my artwork will inspire others to tap into their own creativity to help sustain our Earth's limited resources and save our fragile planet ... because together, each small act can make a difference!

Art has always played an important role in my life. Even as a child growing up in the Chicago suburbs, I combed back alleys and natural settings looking for intriguing relics to incorporate into my unique art creations. Throughout the years, I have continued to search in interesting places for art elements to use - from scrap metal recyclers to historic demolition sites.

Within my artworks, you may find such diverse mediums as artist inks, acrylic and stained glass paints, metallic foils, fabrics, resins, gold leaf, cement and spackling compounds. Many of my eco  friendly pieces include elements from nature, re-purposed metals and re-imagined plastic bottles and straws from everyday life.

Primarily a self-taught artist, my work has sold in stores and galleries from Seattle, WA to Minneapolis, MN.
